MCQ Paper 4

Sample MCQs

a. breast cancer
b. CIN3
c. ovarian endometriosis
d. arterial thrombosis
e. uterine fibroids
f. Von Willebrand’s disease
g. previous ectopic pregnancy
h. post-natal depression
i. recent hydatidiform mole

This is a good examination question, so have a list prepared. It would normally be an OSCE with you being asked to list three or four absolute and relative indications, so you need to have some up your sleeve.

Arterial thrombosis raises the possibility of a thrombophilia. (See MCQ9, question 33.)

The Pill is contraindicated after hydatidiform mole until the HCG levels have returned to normal, but not thereafter. (See MCQ6, question 19.)
